As a broker, it’s important to us that we are only offering products and services that are appropriate for the customer. Across our brands, we serve a wide target market and in response to that we offer a variety of finance products from prime and non-prime to specialist or niche funding . To ensure we’re continuing to meet the needs of our customers, we annually assess the lending products on our panel, as well as reviewing the products we offer when onboarding a new lender.

Price & Value

In our lending operation, Unity Auto Finance, we undertake a fair value assessment to ensure that the price of our financial products are reasonable in respect of the benefit that our customers are getting out of them.  Therefore, at DSG, we make robust pricing decisions that reflect the cost and risk associated with our lending, whilst maintaining fairness and transparency with our customers.

Customer Understanding

Ensuring customer understanding is paramount across all of our brands at DSG. We have a number of workflows in place to ensure that customers are receiving relevant information that is communicated at an appropriate time, in a clear and concise way to help them make informed decisions.

Our teams are also trained and supported in ensuring that they understand the products we offer and are able to communicate clearly with the customer taking into account varying characteristics, needs and ability to understand and process financial information.
